Elena travels with Damon to Denver with two intentions: first to meet Jeremy to contact Rose to learn her bloodline and also to assess her feelings for Damon. They vanquish Kol, who is close to Jeremy, and Rose tells Jeremy to meet the vampire Mary Porter that may tell them her bloodline.
