Didja Notice?

Roslin's dream is set in the Kobol Opera House, which she and others have dreamed of previously.

The radio Colonel Tigh is trying to tune in at 3:06 on the Blu-ray is a TEAC SL-A100. The TEAC brand name is just barely legible on the weathered tuner face.

Sam Anders is seen wearing a Colonial uniform for the first time in this episode. In the later episode "He That Believeth In Me", we learn that he has been undergoing flight training.

The uniform worn by the head judge of Baltar's trial, Captain Doyle Franks, has a sleeve patch that reveals she is the captain of the Prometheus, a ship mentioned a few times in previous episodes and seen in "Black Market".

Prosecutor Cassidy states that the population of the fleet the day after the exodus from New Caprica was 38,838. But the episode "Collaborators" shows the fleet about three days after the exodus with a population of 41,435! That's a difference of 2,597! Quite a margin of error. Possibly the producers decided to retroactively alter the population count to get the death toll during Baltar's tenure as president over 5,000 (just to make it sound like a more appalling number).

At 10:42 on the Blu-ray, we see workers on the tylium refinery ship listening to Baltar's trial on wireless. The ship was previously seen in "Dirty Hands".

A hand crank radio is seen at 10:47 on the Blu-ray. From the style of it, it may be an Etón brand.

One of the press cameramen seen filming Baltar's trial is Bell, who previously appeared as D'Anna Biers' cameraman for the shooting of a documentary about life on the Galactica in "Final Cut".

Lampkin makes the argument that Baltar's decision to surrender the New Caprica colony to the Cylons saved the lives of the humans there, while if Roslin had been president, she would have refused and humanity would have been exterminated. But, the real truth is that if Roslin had defeated Baltar in the election, the fleet would never have settled on the planet that became known as New Caprica in the first place and the Cylon invasion would not have occurred.
