After CSI: Miami was booted off the schedule, the clock began ticking for the other spinoff based in the Big Apple, which did enjoy a resurgence of late thanks to the addition of the lovely Sela Ward. In fact, there was some thought it would survive given how much worse Vegas and Golden Boy were doing on CBS Fridays, but alas … it was not to be. It wasn't meant to be for Vegas, either: The series only averaged a 2.0/6 in the key demo and 12 million viewers. Poor Chiklis, aka Vic Mackey: First No Ordinary Family, and now this!
