So, on Tuesday night, the season finale for Nip/Tuck Season 4 was on. This season has been fairly disappointing so far. The finale itself was decent, but it really couldn't do much for the season in general...

So, the major plot points of the season (that may/could have ramifications later on):

Mcnamara/Troy is bought out by ... oh... can't remember their name... Landau I think. Basically, and old guy and his young hot wife.

Sean and Julia have a baby boy, Connor... who has a genetic birth defect of the hands. Sean repairs one hand.

Matt and Kimber both join the Church of Scientology. Christian sleeps with and leaves Kimber. Kimber sleeps with Matt, gets pregnant, and marries Matt to get back at Christian.

Sean and Julia separate after they both have affairs. This should be fairly permanent this time as the actress that plays Julia quit the show to take care of her sick daughter.

The young hot wife (Michelle) that helped buy out Mcnamara Troy is a former hooker and now occasionally has to pay back her pimp (James) for sending her to college/medical school. They have an organ harvesting operation and they end up taking Liz's kidney among many others.

Christian and Michelle fall in love and have an affair. Her husband dies and Christian and Michelle officially become a couple. He proposes and she accepts.

Wilbur, the little boy that Christian took care of from the end of Season 1 to Season 2, returns to Christian after his biological parents die. Christian formally adopts him.

Mcnamara/Troy operates on Escobar Gallardo's face to repair some severe burn damage. This is the bad guy from Season 1. He ends up escaping and taunting the surgeons.

After realizing that she almost took a child's kidney, James commits suicide in front of Michelle.

Escobar gets the doctor's to operate on his wife. Liz tries to kill Escobar, but in the end, Escobar's wife kills Escobar.

Sean moves to Hollywood to start a new life.

Michelle admits to Christian about her current secret life.

Christian leaves Michelle due to him not trusting her, goes to Hollywood and teams back up with Sean.

Season 4 overall was very bleh. It felt like they hit the rest button on a lot of character development from the past few seasons and reused old plot lines (Sean and Julia had affairs? Again? They're separating... again?). Julia especially was affected by this as her VERY strong personality from Season 3 was just erased.

Most of the episodes were interesting, but were missing that really edgy feeling that other seasons have had... though one or two episodes did have that classic feel (the elf going down on Santa Sean at the North Pole was HILARIOUS).

I was glad they brought back Escobar. He's a GREAT villain and is very creepy. The surgery scars just made him look freakier. But... he's dead now! However, that's fine... they brought him back and he did a good job ;-)

The whole organ harvesting thing.... there were some really creepy moments (like from what James did to the bum. I knew the bum (Reefer) was going to get killed, but she tore him apart!!! However, the story didn't really go anywhere until the very end. Every episode, they harvested an organ, Michelle complained, James told her that she had to do it, and then life went on...

Season 5 looks to be very interesting. The move to Hollywood with Sean and Christian being single could be REALLY great. I hear that Michelle will be in a few episodes next season and I do hope Matt and Kimber come along (especially to see their character's evolution... Matt from bitchy teenager to responsible adult and Kimber from the ditz of the first season to a very strong woman)

Anyway, that's all for now!
