Hairography (E11)

In this episode, the eleventh episode of season one, the New Directions are intimidated by their rivals despite previously thinking they were thugs and deaf singers - two Glee Clubs unable and unmotivated to win Sectionals. However, when the two rivals perform a friendly exhibition, the Glee Club is terrified because they're actually good.

To support the kids, Will Schuester decides to focus on "hair", in specific, "hairography", a method of moving your hair to keep a focus on that and not on the actual performance.
