The Immortal

Judit is almost twelve years old and has a gift for drawing. She lives with her mother and grandfather in Geneva. Her father, a famous painter, left for Hungary when she was little. Judit is preparing to enter a drawing competition when, unexpectedly, chess crosses her path and begins to attact her attention. Judit will play many games, but one of them will change her life. She will play against Mr. Aliyat, a strange chess master born in Iran, who communicates through enigmatic notes. However, when Mr. Aliyat is arrested in the midst of a wave of fundamentalist terrorism, Judit's chess game will come to change the rules of the game.
