Jeremy lives in London and is coming to NYC to look for a job. Miranda decides to house-guest him, since his emails were flirtatious. But Miranda did not have any furniture in her apartment, so she hires Madeline to outfit her apartment before Jeremy's arrival. Madeline helps Miranda buy a sofa bed for Jeremy. Miranda finds Jeremy very charming and is thrilled to know that he is ready to get married.
Jeremy meets Madeline at Miranda's apartment when Madeline brings in the end table. Miranda ends up inviting Madeline to their dinner. She ignores Big for the rest of the wedding. He wants to leave before the cake is cut. Carrie says that she wants someone who can at least stay with her till the end of the wedding. Eventually the bouquet falls right in front of Carrie, and she doesn't bother to catch it. She leaves early with Big.

Right at the wedding, Martin introduces Charlotte to his parents. His dad takes her dancing and gropes her rear end. When she tells Martin, he sides with his dad. He says that his parents have been married for 50 years and his father won't cop a feel just because a pretty girl is wearing a revealing dress.
