Back at CBI, Jane sees Cho talking to the widow Erica (Morena Baccarin) and Cho is laughing. He thinks she seems genuinely upset. They were married for about a year. Jane thinks she's skilled about getting people to open up and trust her, based on Cho's reaction. He wonders if she uses that skill to get people to open up. She's a match maker. She asks if he believes in true love. He says yes. She thinks she sees sadness in him. He walks him to the elevator and says any of the women she works for would be lucky to have him. When Erica leaves, Jane tells Lisbon that she murdered her husband.
Lisbon says Erica has an alibi -- she was with a client. Erica says her husband came home with a bruise the other night. Jane thinks the fact John Flynn gave $500,000 to charity last year is a red flag of a guilty conscience.
Rigsby interviews Erica's client, who says she was Erica from 5 to 6 p.m. She gives him the tape of her interview. She gets flustered talking to him, then asks if he's seeing anyone. He says no and she says "good to know" and leaves.
Van Pelt brings a video of John's ex-wife Kim Cartwright. She says three months ago her husband of 21 years asked for a divorce. She tells up their settlement and rants that he's a pig and a coward.
Van Pelt goes to see her. She says she made the video a year ago and was angry. She doesn't have an alibi. She says she and John reconciled months ago and they talked all the time. She says he was unhappy in their marriage and needed someone to talk to. She says John was ready to retire, but Erica wanted him to expand the business. She says his fight was with Henry Cliff, a former client.
At CBI, Cho reports Erica signed a prenup before they got married. Sara's taped interview was time stamped, proving her alibi. Rigsby asks Cho what he thinks of dating services. Cho says "no and then yes." He explains no, he never has and yes, Rigsby should. "Anything to get you to stop dating your coworkers," Cho says.
Jane visits Symphony, where Erica comes out to meet him. He doesn't have any news or questions. She says she thinks she knows why he's there, then says he was in a relationship but it ended badly and he was hurt.
She takes Jane to the studio where they do their client interviews. Jane takes a seat.
Riverside Health Club Henry Cliff admits he punched John over a tiff. He says it was over a woman named Naomi. He met her at singles mixer John's company organized and went up to her hotel room, where they got it on. Two days later she called, blackmailing him. He paid.
He says he talked to John, who promised Naomi would be caught.
Erica finishes up with Jane, asking what he wants in an ideal world. He says he wants to be free from his past.
Erica turns off the tape then walks over to Jane, saying she can tell he likes her and that's a sign he can care for someone again. He says he was wondering when she'd try this -- to manipulate him. She denies it, insisting she was only pointing out what she's sure he feels. He says that's impossible because he thinks she killed her husband.
Jane thinks it was because he was going to leave her and she's all about control. She insists she didn't do it. She thinks he doesn't even believe that, he's just looking for a reason to sabotage his feelings for her because he feels guilty over his wife's death. He says he does sabotage relationships and he does feel guilty, but he's even more sure now that she killed her husband. She tells him to prove it.
Back at the office, they've found Naomi's info is fake.
Lisbon tells Van Pelt to look into every dating service in the Bay Area.
Jane sneaks into Lisbon's office and steals her laptop off her desk.
Van Pelt looked into an upcoming singles mixer and found a woman who's dating answers match the ones Naomi gave. Lisbon sends Rigsby home to suit up.
Up in his aerie, Jane watches the tape of his interview with Erica and her interview with Sara.
Rigsby is worried about attracting Naomi. He attempts an accent.
At the hotel, the women come in for the mixer. The event host IDs Naomi. Lisbon tells him to find her rose tattoo on her hip. Rigsby introduces himself. He talks about his portfolio and she mentions her room upstairs.
They head up. She comes out of the bathroom in her underwear and he clearly compliments her rose tattoo on her hip. Then he submits to her kisses until Lisbon and Van Pelt come in.
Back at Symphony, Jane says he found something odd on the DVD Erica is using as her alibi. He tells her to sit on the interview chair. He goes into the other room. Lights shine on Erica's face. She can't see Jane through the glass.
She goes in to see him. He plays a tape of her voice. He tells her he heard a clicking sound on the DVD -- it was a tape recorder. He says she had plenty of time to duck out and kill her husband, but she would have needed an accomplice to play the recorded questions. She opens the door he thinks it the one out -- it's a storage closet. She says she would have had to walk past her client to leave.
She tells him he's kind and clever but has to stop his obsessive behavior.
Back at CBI, Jane tells Lisbon he wants to find Erica's accomplice. He insists he's 100 percent sure Erica killed her husband. Lisbon asks why he's obsessed with her. "Because she doesn't think I'm smart enough to catch her," he says. Lisbon wonders how Erica left the room without Sara noticing.

Rigbsy debates whether or not to asks Sara out. He calls.
Jane storms into Erica's office, claiming to have ID'd her accomplice, a young impressionable man. He suggests her assistant Peter. Erica looks out of her office to see Peter being taken into custody. She agrees to go.
As Peter is being led away, Jane asks her how long she thinks it'll take before Peter tells him everything.
Back at CBI, Jane tells Peter he understands why he loves Erica, but it must make him wonder what she sees in him. He quickly admits the affair. Jane says Erica was using him but he says he won't hurt Erica.
Jane tells Lisbon to let him go.
Sara comes for her date with Rigsby.
Erica saunters up to Jane and wakes him on his couch. She guesses Peter didn't talk. Jane promises her he'll catch her. She says if he was capable of catching her, he would have done so by now.
Lisbon comes in and tells Jane that Peter is dead -- he killed himself.
At Peter's apartment, Jane tells Erica the coroner found an empty bottle in his bathroom. He says Peter left a letter. He urges Erica to confess. She calls his bluff. She opens it. It says "I win."
He says Peter death will eat at her because she cared way too much about Peter. He says Jane is wrong. She says if he thinks for a moment she cared about Peter, he's as gullible as Peter. She says Peter meant nothing to her.
Jane says that's exactly what she was hoping Peter would hear. Peter walks out, very much alive.
Back at CBI, Peter confesses to playing the tape while Erica snuck out to kill him.
Jane talk to Erica again, he says it's over. She tells him not to count on it, because a jury still has to believe Peter. "Not everyone's as smart as you," she tells him.
Lisbon goes into Jane's hide out to reclaim her laptop. She sees Jane's interview. He says he's looking for someone he can trust, who's strong, at peace with themselves and better than him. Erica's voice says she sounds like an amazing woman. Jane says she was.
