- In honor of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the Glee Club to find and perform the world's greatest love songs.
- Open with Will (Matthew Morrison) telling the kids the assignment is to find and perform the world's greatest love song. Also, since they still need to raise money for regionals, they will perform them for students at $10 a pop. Sugar (Vanessa Lengies) tells the rest of the kids she's having a party at Breadsticks, but only couples are allowed.
Rachel's dads call Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Cory Monteith) to the auditorium. They are starting to think about planning the wedding and want to begin with a special Valentine's dinner.
Quinn (Dianna Agron) returns to the God Squad, whose members include Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Sam (Chord Overstreet). Hippie transfer student Joe Hart (Samuel Larsen) is their newest member. Joe, who plays guitar, wants them to perform for Valentine's Day.
Kurt (Chris Colfer) gets cards and balloons from a "secret admirer." Artie (Kevin McHale) and Rory (Damian McGinty) both want to take Sugar. Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) sing Nat 'King' Cole's "L-O-V-E" while we watch a montage of the two fighting to woo her with various gifts. Rory seems to be winning.
Just before Brittany (Heather Elizabeth Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) kiss, Figgins (Iqbal Theba) calls them into his office. He says PDA is not allowed and he got a complaint about their kissing. Santana is furious.
Rachel and Finn announce to the kids they are "finally getting married." Kurt reiterates he thinks they're making a mistake. They're doing it with a Justice of the Peace and invite everyone. Artie sings Mario's "Let Me Love You" to Sugar with the guys backing him up. Sugar jumps on his lap.
The God Squad delivers a vocal valentine to Rachel from Finn. Joe sings lead on a version of "Stereo" by the Gym Class Heroes (feat. Adam Levine). Santana gives Joe money to sends a song to her "girlfriend" Brittany. Joe looks confused.
Kurt gets another secret admirer note in his locker. Rory tells the kids his student visa was rejected and he'll have to leave the U.S. after the school year. He tells them they've made him feel like family and sings Michael Bublé's "Home." Afterwards Sugar says she feels "worse for you than I do for Artie" and asks him to be her date for the party.
The God Squad discusses singing to a gay person. They toss around their feelings.
Mercedes tells Sam she told Shane (Lamarcus Tinker) about them. Mercedes says what they did was wrong. She feels terrible. She can't be with him because of it. Mercedes sings Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
Finn and Rachel's family get together. Rachel's dads sing with her at the piano before dinner. Following dinner, the parents tell the kids to spend the night together. We see Rachel's elaborate bedtime bathroom ritual. Finn needs to go do "No. 2". An argument begins. They start fighting about the bathroom and this leads to bigger issues. Downstairs Rachel's fathers clink glasses in celebration.
Kurt meets his secret admirer, who turns out to be Karofsky (Max Adler). Karofsky says he's being honest about how he feels for the first time in his life. Kurt says he's proud of him, but he's with Blaine (Darren Criss) and just likes him as a friend. A hurt Karofsky leaves.
Finnn and Rachel have made up, though they admit living on top of each other will be tougher than they thought. They both think they'll be able to pull off marriage.
Downstairs, Rachel's dads think their plan is working. They don't think she'll go through with it. Both like Finn, but think the kids are too young. The couple comes downstairs and says they're leaving for Breadsticks. They drop the bomb that they want to get married in May after nationals.
Sugar introduces the God Squad. Joe steps forwards and tells Santana "love is love, man." They sing a mash-up of The Association's and Madonna's "Cherish" to the couple. Afterwards, Sugar introduces Blaine. He sings a song to "all the lovers in the world." Blaine, Mercedes, Rachel, Kurt and Brittany perform "Love Shack" by The B-52's.
