- The Glee Club puts together a calendar photo shoot for a fundraiser. Meanwhile, a part in a student art film poses a moral dilemma for Rachel.
- Open with a news report that the Warblers have been stripped of their title due to PEDs and the New Directions are off to Regionals with the chance to defend their national title.
Finn reminds the team they've lost three weeks of prep and still need to raise money for their bus. Tina suggests they have the six guys in the club pose for a calendar. Finn likes it and puts her in charge.
Marley appears on Brittany's web show Fondue For Two. Brittany asks her if she's in love with Jake and thinks she should tell him how she feels.
Brittany has received a near perfect score on her college entrance exam, seemingly by accident. By contrast Sam received just about the worst score possible.
Rachel agrees to appear in a fellow student's senior thesis. She is asked to appear topless and is uncertain as to what she should do. This naturally leads to her singing "Torn." Eventually she says she'll do it.
Sam shows up to school shirtless, wearing a pair of swimsuits. Blaine asks if perhaps he's trying to compensate for his SAT scores.
Sam takes the other guys through "broga" and a few grooming lessons in order to get them ready for their photo shoots. Artie is nervouse about posing shirtless. He then leads them in a mash up of "It's Getting Hot in Here" and "Angel Is A Centerfold."
Sue tells Finn she's going after him for being a "smut peddler." He says that if she does mess with him he'll hunt down an old picture of her in Penthouse and sells those pictures to raise money. Sue is confident he'll never find it.
Brody is fully supportive of Rachel's decision to pose topless. Kurt isn't so sure.
Marley asks Jake to meet her in the auditorium. She has been looking at possible Regionals songs, and wants them to sing "A Thousand Years." The perform it together and then afterwards kiss. She almost tells him she loves him, but stops and says she doesn't think the song is right for Regionals.
Finn tells Artie what's happening with Sue and their calendar and asks him to hunt down Sue's Penthouse centerfold. Artie says he doesn't want to pose for the calendar. Finn says he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do.
Tina and Kitty tell Jake and Ryder their ideas for their shoots. Jake tells him he's starting to get serious about Marley. Jake thought she was going to tell him she loved him and was planning to say it back to her. Ryder thinks he should say it first. Jake sings "Let Me Love You" to the rest of the club. Marley is moved.
Santana and Quinn arrive at NYADA, having been asked by Kurt to perform an emergency intervention. They tell her not to do the topless scene. They warn her she'll feel guilty about it down the road and that her children will eventually see it.
The photo shoot begins. The guys are getting tired of Sam's primadonna act and Blaine takes him aside. Sam doesn't think he's special without his body. Blaine assures him that everybody will still love him even if he puts on a few pounds.
Finn tells Sue he's found her Penthouse issue. She says she isn't ashamed of what she did. It turns out Finn didn't find the magazine, but taped Sue confessing to posing. "Check mate," Finn says.
Blaine brings Sam to see Emma. She shows him a number of college options that don't depend on admission scores.
During filming Rachel balks when it comes time to drop her robe. She asks for the rest of the crew to take of their shirts. They do, but Rachel tells the director she isn't ready. This transitions to Rachel singing "Love Song" with Quinn and Santana.
Sam is struggling writing his college essay. Blaine shows him video of all his friends talking about what Sam has meant to them. An emotional Sam hugs Blaine in thanks.
In part to make Artie feel more comfortable, the calendar ends up featuring a number of photos with the guys fully clothed. The club raises $350.
Jake and Marley tell each other they love one another.
We end with a performance of "This Is The New Year."
