The NCIS star and his wife, Carrie James, separated in March 2024 after 18 years of marriage and she has since filed for divorce. Murray and James met in 2004 and exchanged vows in November 2005. She filed for divorce from Murray in April 2024 After nearly two decades of marriage, James filed for divorce from Murray — citing irreconcilable differences. The couple officially separated on March 18, 2024, according to court documents. James requested spousal support and sole physical custody of the pair's two children. On April 26, 2022, Murray announced on Instagram that Caitlyn was joining the NCIS family in a guest appearance on the series.
