Here’s this week’s quick rundown: More people come under suspicion for Julie’s attack. Gaby finds a creative solution to her homeschooling problems. Susan pisses off someone from her past and pays the consequences. And Bree once again tries to steal a recipe from a neighbor – does she never learn? Read on for the details!

Dominic shows up at Julie’s and asks to come in – she lets him. Lynette comes to the house and hears them arguing. Julie tells Lynette that he was the one she was having an affair with and Lynette says she has to tell Susan. (I cannot buy into this story that Julie thinks Dominic is so great – he gives me the heebie jeebies). Julie says Nic wants her to take him back; Lynette tries to convince Julie of how bad an idea that would be and offers to help her and not tell Susan. When Lynette tells Nic to back off, he threatens her. Lynette immediately suspects him as Julie’s strangler. Lynette and Tom tell Julie about her suspicions, but Julie doesn’t want to believe that Nic attacked her. They tell her that they are going to go to the police, which they do. The police look mightily concerned.

Gaby tries to teach Juanita fractions by threatening to maim her favorite doll. To take the pressure off Gaby so she can focus on teaching Juanita, Carlos hires a housekeeper. The new maid has a PhD in engineering and Gaby gets her to help Juanita, but nothing gets done around the house, so Carlos has the agency send over a new maid because the other one sucked (and not in the good vacuum sort of way). Gaby drags Juanita to the house where Ivana is cleaning and gets her to help Juanita while Gaby scrubs the floors. Apparently she gets Ivana hired back, because when she comes home from shopping the next day she finds Carlos there – he knows everything now. She cries, and he tells her that they will work it out so that she doesn’t have to home school Juanita anymore.

Susan and Mike got to the police to try to get them to investigate Katherine as Julie’s attacker. A female detective offers to take the case. It is someone from Susan’s past who seems to be holding a grudge. Of course Susan has no idea who she is. After going through an old yearbook, Susan remembers her as the girl she used to call Moose and whose boyfriend dumped her to go out with Susan. Moose finds out Katherine has an alibi for the night Julie was strangled, so instead she arrests Susan for shooting Katherine and not reporting it. At the end of the episode, Susan was still in jail.

Bree and Orson go to the Bolen’s for dinner. Angie and Nic start angling to get Bree to hire Angie. Things get very uncomfortable when Angie and Nic start arguing. When Bree gets hired by some clients whose guests are coming from the Bronx, Bree tries to get recipes from Angie, but she won’t give them up. After a sob story that’s a total lie, Angie gives them to her. When Angie finds out Bree lied, she flips and takes back her recipes. Bree begs Angie to come work for her and after a heart to heart on what they really think of each other, Angie agrees to help her out.

The cops call and ask Angie where Nic was the night Julie was attacked. It seems she’s known for awhile that he was having an affair with Julie. Angie tells Nic that since he can’t go anywhere and she can’t go anywhere that they’ll just have to get past it. She tells him she lied and told the police he was with her all night. Then she punches him in the nose.

Orson, still in his desperate attempts to please Bree, tries to give her a brooch similar to the one she got from Karl. She starts screaming at him that she doesn’t want romantic gestures from him, she wants a divorce. He storms out.

All in all, an ok episode. But no Danny, very little Katherine, and very little Tom. It’s almost as if there are no too many characters on the show, and some just keep getting pushed to the side. The writers are also still pushing Nic as Julie’s attacker which makes me wonder if it’s true or a red herring. It’s a little too obvious (as many of us have said before), but who else could it be? Since Angie said she lied to the police about being with her all night that means he wasn’t home. So where was he? Let me know your thoughts on the subject!
