It feels like ages since we’ve seen what our housewives are up to. Oh how I’ve missed them. In the previews leading up this episode, we see someone digging what is presumably a grave.

It’s been a long time coming, but could we actually be finding out who is behind Julie’s attack and the murder of the coffee shop girl? Read on to find out what we learn…

Someone has saved newspaper clippings of Julie’s attack and another missing teen (not the coffee shop girl). We see all the neighbors reading the paper, and there is also a paper lying on the counter of the test kitchen as Bree and Sam walk in. It looked a bit like foreshadowing to me. Could Sam be involved in the attacks?

Gaby is eavesdropping on Lee and Bob arguing. Their egg donor has backed out, so Gaby offers her eggs. When she tells Carlos about it, he tells her no. With Bob and Lee, Gaby starts talking like she’s also going to be a parent to the baby. When Bob and Lee tell her that she’s just the donor, the baby will be theirs, she’s visibly upset. Carlos talks to Bob and Lee to tell them Gaby won’t be giving them her eggs. When Gaby goes to talk to Bob, she finds out that Bob and Lee have split up and Lee has left.

Mike’s truck is being repossessed. His plumbing business is not doing very well, but he refuses to take Susan’s money. MJ is clogging the kitchen sink because “Daddy needs work,” and it gives Susan the idea to run around the neighborhood and create plumbing problems and then give her friends the money to pay Mike to make the repairs. Mike figures out what’s up when he finds Susan’s earring in Gaby’s bathtub drain. Mike is humiliated, but for once Susan is the sensible one – she tells Mike that they’re supposed to be partners, and what’s the big deal if she helps him pay for the truck? He tells her it’s his business and his problem. Turns out Mike has much bigger debt than a couple of truck payments. He confides in Carlos who gives him a check. So what kind of debt is he racking up? Gambling? Blackmail?

Andrew busts Sam – he found out that Sam never actually got his MBA. Sam said it was because his mother was dying in his last semester and that he should supposedly get his degree soon. Sam tells Bree that Andrew has been charging clients for more alcohol than was used at their parties. Bree fires Andrew while Sam watches and smiles. When Bree tells Sam that she and Andrew ill work it out and he will eventually come back to the company, Sam is not happy. Later, Bree is doing some sort of taste testing to convince the publishers that her “up-scale, down-home cookbook” is a good idea. Her publisher tells her if the people don’t like the food, she’ll never publish any kind of cookbook again. Sam tells Bree the food has been tampered with and he accuses Andrew of sabotage. The waiters can’t get the plates back that have already been served, so Bree sets of the sprinklers before anyone can taste the food. Orson tells Bree that Andrew’s not smart enough to pull off the sabotage, and he accuses Sam. Bree is shocked.

Lynette and Irina are wedding dress shopping at a Russian dress shop per Irina’s request. Irina gets a phone call from an irate Russian which the shopkeeper translates for Lynette. Lynette tries to report Irina to immigration saying Irina said “go ahead and tell the police, they’ll never find me.” The first guy doesn’t want to help, so Lynette befriends another woman there, who apparently will help her if Lynette gets Irina’s passport number. She is in Preston’s room when Irina and Preston come in and are about to have sex. She hides behind the closet door but before things can go too far, she throws a baseball through the window (and bounces the ball off Tom’s car almost hitting him in the process – hilarious!). The day of the wedding, the immigration lady shows up with a file. Irina is married – to the Russian that called earlier and also to an Italian, from whom she stole money. Irina is not concerned because she thinks that Preston will listen to all her “explanations.” Fortunately for Lynette, Preston overhears everything and calls off the wedding.

Danny is working in the same coffee shop as the girl who was killed in the beginning of the season. Patrick Logan is there as a customer and he tells Danny he’s working on a novel. He’s stuck, so he lays out the basic plot – which his Patrick and Angie’s story. Danny suggests that the guy in the story kill the woman (basically Patrick should kill Angie). Patrick thinks that’s a great idea and cue creepy music and commercial break. As a side note, I think Patrick Logan definitely rivals Dave as creepy villain (although no one will ever be as good as Dave). Angie comes home to a supposedly empty house, but she keeps hearing noises – cue more creepy music. The phone rings, but it’s only Nic. However, Patrick is lurking just outside the window. Patrick goes back to the coffee shop and tells Danny he couldn’t write it that way. Instead the guy is going to take the kid.

Irina is walking down the street after being dumped by Preston. Eddie (Preston’s friend), offers her a ride to the motel. When she accepts, he also offers to let her stay at his place so she won’t have to spend money on a motel. When she insults him by calling him a “greasy haired little boy,” he pulls over and strangles her!!!

Holy cow Eddie is the killer! I totally did not see that coming! He’s only been in the show a couple of times – they really just snuck him in there! According to the preview for next week, the killing spree isn’t over. So who else do you think is going to die? And what did you think of this week? I’m not happy about Bob and Lee splitting – just when I thought we were going to see more of them. Leave me your two cents!

    1) I’m glad we’re finally making progress in Julie’s strangler and yes, I was surprised in who it was! What a way to get rid of Irina though.

    2) The Mike-pride thing is too much but Susan with the frying pan was a throwback to her usual antics we haven’t seen in a while.

    3) Gaby/Bob/Lee was really touching and I Hope Lee comes back.

It was the first decent episode in a while. But the question remains..now that Irina is gone, with Preston shave the pornstache?? LOL

    • Annette says:

I was thinking the same thing about Preston’s ‘stache! Please, please, please go away! I’m also glad that the Irina situation was resolved so quickly, and that they didn’t get married and drag that situation out.

I think Bree is the next victim. When Eddie was attacking in the commercials and there was a scream, it sounded like Bree screaming. Eddie does fit Julie’s attack though. The night of Julie’s attack or the night before, (I cannot remember tht episode was so long ago.) Julie had insulted him on his act at the comedy club.
Obviously Bob and Lee should get back together, they were becoming a major part of the show.
