Tonight’s episode starts with Deeks in an empty bed calling for “Sugar Bear”. He walks around an empty house, grabbing a cup of coffee on his rounds. But who is he looking for? As he walks out the front door, Kenzi comes running up. So that is who he was looking for!

Wait, Deeks and Kenzi living together? Please tell me that the episode starts off inside of the case and they aren’t actually living together!? Just before the title sequence comes up, we see part of a hand, a camera — and a gun! I am sure that this is the person that Deeks and Kenzi are looking for, but who is it?

We cut to the gym at the office, where we find Hanna and Callen working out. They are summoned to meet with Hetty, but when they don’t immediately come, Hetty shows up on the screen. Man, she is forceful and loves to just show up anywhere she wants!

The team meets where Deeks and Kenzi show everyone who the players in the neighborhood are. Deeks tells everyone everything he knows and that they were able to plant any additional cameras that will be needed to spy on the neighbors. Who are they looking for? A Russian sleeper cell. But they don’t know who it is and as we find out, the only connection to this sleeper cell was found dead in an elevator of a hotel.

Kenzi decides to play Suzie Homemaker and bake some Snickerdoodles. She has “made” them for one of the neighbors. He is the one neighbor that has lived there the longest. As she leaves the kitchen, Deeks finds a package of Snickerdoodles in the trash. Kenzi never did make them herself. I didn’t think she was the homemaker type myself, but it definitely fooled me until Deeks pulled out that package from the trash,

Callen and Hanna visit one of his contacts. They show him an bunch of photos. This man does react to two of the photos, saying that the photos look like his late wife. As they’re leaving, Callen makes a comment to Hanna about how his late wife doesn’t look like those two women and he makes a call to have any and all information pulled on them.

One of the neighbors is hiding something. Serena Miller has lied to her boss when she says she is going to Florida. But Kenzi sees her driving down the street in her BMW, so it’s definitely not true. So, what does she do? Kenzi breaks into Serena’s home. We are surprised as Kenzi enters the living room to find Serena there with a gun. Kenzi’s cover about being in the house is that she had heard a noise and had come over to see what it was. Deeks asks if backup is needed, and when Kenzi replies “yep” a car alarm goes off. A fight starts with both ladies exhibiting martial arts moves. When asked who she really is, Serena does not want to reveal her true identity. She is afraid if she does, that she will be killed. Serena asks for protection, but Kenzi refuses until they find out who she really is. “Serena” wants out badly. She is afraid for her safety. Unfortunately, she will not give up her handlers’ identity until then. Kenzi leaves with “Serena” through the garage, but as soon as “Serena” touches the door handle, her finger is pricked by something and she falls to the ground, going into a seizure before dying. Kenzi tries to get what information she needs out of her before she dies, but is unsuccessful.

A little while later, Deeks and Kenzi are sitting in the living room, discussing “Serena” and what Kenzi wishes her life was like, when the window is smashed. Deeks pulls his gun to find out that it’s one of the neighbor kids who had thrown a ball through the window. This kid, undoubtedly, is scarred for life.

The mother approaches Deeks after he finishes talking to one of the neighbors they’re having dinner with that evening. She claims that Deeks pulled a gun on her son, which Deeks claims that children have active imaginations. She believes him when he says that it really was a starter for the grill, so the kid gets grounded. Yea, he is scarred for life now. Don’t you think? The mother will be paying for that window as well, that’s for sure!

Deeks walks back into the house with extremely loud techno music playing. He can’t find Kenzi, so he starts to look – when he finds blood! He traces the blood all the way to the bathroom where Kenzi is half naked in a towel. Apparently she cut herself on a shard of the glass when the window broke and that’s where the blood came from.

Hanna and Kallen go in search of anything that will lead them to the Russian sleeper cell and solve this mystery. What they find is a boatload of cash and guns!

That same evening, Deeks and Kenzi have dinner with their neighbors. These neighbors are very disturbing to me. They’re married to each other, yet they flirt and touch Deeks and Kenzi in a way that people shouldn’t be touched. While those neighbors are off in search of the perfect red wine for the evening, Deeks and Kenzi have the chance to talk – and snoop around to see what they can find. A few moments later, Hanna approaches Kallen with a picture that has Deeks holding his gun like he is about to shoot. Kallen is positive that Deeks and Kenzi had been made! He tries to call Kenzi, but she is told not to answer, that whoever it is will call back.

During a tour of the house, they’re lead into the basement, saying that there is a surprise for them. That’s when they receive the message via text that they had been made. But when Kenzi and Deeks pull their guns, we see a sexual dungeon. Are these people strange, or what?

It looks like they’ve definitely been made. After leaving their dinner, the Russians are waiting for them and a gun fight ensues. The old man takes Kenzi and Deeks into his home and we soon find out that this man is the Russian sleeper that they’ve been looking for! Of course the only handcuffs they have to put him in are those fuzzy ones from the sexual dungeon that Deeks must of taken when nobody was looking.

As the show comes to a close we hear Hetty say “Mr Deeks, about those handcuffs…..”

What did you think of tonight’s episode overall? Did you know who the sleeper cell was or were you surprised?
