"The Deception Verification" is an episode of The Big Bang Theory that first aired on September 26, 2013, on the same night as the previous episode. Directed by Mark Cendrowski. Teleplay by Steven Molaro, Steve Holland and Maria Ferrari, based on a story by Chuck Lorre, Eric Kaplan and Jim Reynolds.

Leonard comes home early to Penny's apartment in secret, but when the cat is out of the bag, Sheldon is not happy. Meanwhile, Howard struggles with his masculinity after he applies hormone cream on his mother's back. Guest starring Kevin Sussman as Stuart and Barak Hardley as a pizza delivery guy.

    Bernadette: Your skin has been absorbing estrogen. That's why you've been all bloated and moody and a giant pain in the ass.
    Howard: But you're full of estrogen and you don't act like that.
