Danny Cipriani injured after being bit by bus

Sale fly-half Danny Cipriani is in hospital, after being hit by a double-decker bus in Leeds.

The incident happened on a night out and he is being treated for concussion.

The club he joined last year on a three-year deal has confirmed he was being X-rayed overnight.

The 25-year-old has seven England caps to his name, while Melbourne Rebels and London Wasps are his former clubs.

Sale currently lie second-bottom of the Aviva Premiership and have just one game left, against Cipriani’s former side London Wasps on May 4.
