This is an extremely rare copy of this text by Andrea Bacci, an Italian philosopher, doctor and writer. This book is regarding "the nature and goodness" of waters of the Teuere, Rome, Nile, Po, Arno and other rivers. Good (Boards show wear, foxing, corners are bending; spine has a few small holes in the surface material at the bottom; there is minor soiling on the spine strip; there is discoloration at the top of the spine strip; cloth binding material at the bottom of the spine has pulled away from the text block, but has not detached; covers have some discoloration; there is a stamp from a bookstore and one from a personal library on the inside of the front cover; text block is darkened and shows scuffing and smudging; title page to first page is heavily worn, foxed and age-toned, and is pulling away slightly from the text block at the bottom; there is an almost imperceptible worm hole that runs from page 215 through the end of the text block; pages are lightly to moderately foxed; final eight pages are pulling away slightly at the bottom and are more foxed than the rest; ribbon bookmark is aged and worn significantly at the end.).
