If this was a book, it would be like one of those books that you start reading and just can't put it down until you get to the end. It's that good of a show. And if you are just starting out watching I'd highly recommend you go back to season 1 and start from the beginning cause you'll have many missing pieces to this puzzle. If you wanna to do it cheaply by just watching them all til you get to this current season and you haven't sold yourself as to how much you like it, I'd start with a Net flicks account DVD's and do 3 or 4 at a time and start there, then go Amazon or start buying a season at a time and get a TV pass for the current season. If you have little time to watch TV and can watch that much at once then I'd get the TV pass now for the current season so your rates are low per episode. Watch the net flicks til your as far as you can go then switch over to Amazon and if net flicks don't have season 10 yet, If by then you like it you'll want to buy it on instant video and might even buy the others as well so you can go back and watch anytime you like. Lots of times it's cheaper to if planning to own it all to buy them on the Amazon Instant Video then you don't have a bulky box with DVD's in it that can get scratched or broken plus, if your downloaded version from Amazon gets corrupted you can re-download it free, if your DVD gets broken you can't get a free replacement.
DVR's and Amazon Instant Video (AIV) of which you can get a TV pass and never miss an episode which is great. DVR's no TV pass it will record what it see's on TV but if you like recording commercial's and weather reports, or special news or the president talking DVR might be your thing. (AIV) Plus the bonus by having it digitally I can watch it anywhere I have internet or download it on to your PS3 or PC or a Memory Stick or external Mega 1T drive or bigger and have all my shows and watch them with out the internet once downloaded (so when power goes out one night and your laptop is charged up you could watch your favorite shows you downloaded {using the Amazon UnBox Video program of which is a free download on Amazon (AUBV)} out of your Video Library on (AIV), which is great when traveling. Just plug in the PC to the Big Wide screen TV or projector and watch the show and have a family movie night. Anyway the other good thing is when the big storm happened on the east coast last year. The Stations had blocked out the shows and was cutting in doing News so what ever the episode was didn't get to see it with the DVR but with the TV Pass I was able to watch it. Other bonus don't have to worry about the DVD getting broken. I love this Idea of the TV pass and instant video's It's nice No more storing massive collections of video tapes or DVD's anymore I can keep my collection downloaded to my PC and easel look up and find the show I'm looking for in one big large file with all my shows on it. I haven't tried the cloud thing yet but I'm thinking of giving it a go. Over all this Show Rocks never a boring episode at least not yet. If you want to watch it and keep it TV Pass the way to go. You'll have your collection before those waiting for it to go DVD. As far as storing my (AUBV's) I like using the Memory Stick mainly because if something happens to my hard drive on my PC I'm protected with it on the stick. I imagine the cloud thing would be just as nice in that respect. So I say Enjoy it once you start doing it, it might be hard to stop using the Amazon Instant Video or the Amazon UnBox Video on your computer, Tivo, ps3, or Roku which is nice cause with the Roku you just need internet and no downloading required with it. Anyway it's lots of fun, and really easy to use even for us old guys in our 50's. Enjoy you'll love it.
jerking sections throughout the series. Basically, this will cover season 11 but may also reflect back to the two previous seasons
as well. There is a change of characters (Ziva returns to Israel) not of my liking and the girl replacing her is just adequate. I was
watching for a budding romance that seemed to be slowly building between Ziva and Tony, but what or why she left boggles my
mind. The series lost a great character in Ziva, and she played well with Tony, much like Booth and Bones or Castle and Beckett
or Patrick Jane and Lisbon....By the way, when is the final season of The Mentalist going to start anyhow? I did not like Ziva at
first, but she really grew on me. I had a strong liking for Kate, who got killed in an early season. Tony had a kind of thing for her
too. That all being said, the stories keep the rating I give it to 5 stars, though there was a couple of episodes that sagged a bit,
I think because of Ziva's absence. But the show keeps trucking on and I still love it.
Production quality continues to be top notch; scenes of Afganistan and/or Bagdad are quite believable and look expensive to
produce. On board ship scenes are also quite good. One mistake I thought was in an episode Tony went to Germany, but the
building in one scene was the same building used to represent the Jeffersonian Crime Lab entrance, though really was a
LA museum, also used in THE MENTALIST as a museum in Sacramento. Only I notice these little things though most people
would not notice or care. Still it was effective.
There are some flash back episodes; we learn more about Gibbs past, and the last episode of season 11 is a very touching
one in which Gibbs father passes away. Apparently the gentleman who played Gibbs father (and also Booth's grandfather who
raised him) really did pass on. He was a very good character actor and will be missed to those who are familiar with him. Gibbs
reflects back on his relationship with him,
There was an episode further back that I called the ( WHAT IF..) episode which sort of suggested what might have happened
if Gibbs did not kill the murder who killed his first wife and child. Example: Kate is not killed, marries Tony and they have a kid.
Also Gibbs never joins NCIS and becomes a kind of recluse and very crabby; more than normal. A brilliant episode I thought,
but I like mystical stories like that. Anyhow, If you seen any of the NCIS seasons, and you like any of them, you certainly will
like season 10 and 11, though I would like to tell the producers to get Ziva back. Miss Bishop is a bit Ditzy, and has some likable
traits but she is NOT Ziva or Kate. Still, FIVE STARS for this and all the other DVDs (I have them all from Amazon) and am
receiving season 12 on my Video Library. And tell the BONES producers to get rid of the Sweets look-a-like!!!! Enjoy!!
The picture quality of the standard DVDs is EXCELLENT!!!

of the season 10.
Buona visione!
