Death is part of the Four Horsemen and the people on the Four Horsemen are War, Conquest, Death, and Famine. War is outright trouble and will start any battle for any reason. Conquest is the antichrist. Death takes souls when people die. Famine overprices anything like food and water. The only way they can come together is when the lamb breaks the first four of the seven seals, and they are set free.

We're coming back to that, but this story is about a family, who had a bad encounter with Death and their life will change forever. A brother and sister from that family will be chased by Death for the rest of their lives. After their mom dies, they will find a new family that will help them through their nightmare. They will meet new enemies through their journey fighting Death and finding the truth of the four horsemen. When they find the truth, Benjamin and Isabella won't be the same ever again.
