Thea M. Mason was born in Detroit, Michigan to Celeste and John Franklin Mason. She has 4 sisters and one brother. Thea attended all Detroit Public Schools and graduated from Frank L. Cody Senior High School in 1994. She enjoys reading, writing, music, teaching, learning and listening. Thea is a graduate of Kentucky State University the only Historically Black College and University in the state of Kentucky. She shares this prestigious honor with her grandparents Lorenzo and Geraldine Croft, her aunt Joann Croft and two cousins Brandon and Catherine. Thea has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters of Arts Degree in Special Education-Learning Behavior Disorders. She is also President and Founder of T.C.M. Educational Consultants Corporation, a nonprofit organization founded in her hometown Detroit, Michigan in 2011. The motto of T.C.M. Educational Consultants is "Enlighten, Educate, and Empower."
Thea's purpose as an educator and for her nonprofit is to ensure that students and parents know that life is full of difficulties, but in order to realize your goal you have to seek higher heights.
