Yoox, the Italian fashion retailer, has a name that’s fun to say, and, like us, they savor the art of the easy pun - they’ve just launched “Byte into the Italian Style,” a tribute to Italy's culture and tradition. As you might’ve heard once or twice, food is a big part of Italian culture—lucky for us, Yoox persuaded the Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani (of Milan's D'O) to demonstrate some of that Italianate culinary prowess in a series of short, elegant cooking videos.

Everything about these videos are quintessentially Italian—from the outsized declarations (“A great dish could be one which is influenced by the world, like a globetrotter”) to the libidinous thrum of electronica in the background. Of course, the fruits of Oldani’s labors are gorgeous; the man even gilds his chocolate.
