Mac is back!
It seems the highly anticipated return of JAG's Catherine Bell on NCIS: Los Angeles last year inspired the crime drama to bring her back once again, and we couldn't be more thrilled.
In case you're not caught up, this was major at the time, as it was the first reunion between Catherine's Mac and David James Elliott's Harm since JAG ended in 2005. Considering we left the characters off on very uncertain terms (that coin flip!) it was an exciting moment.
Though we didn’t get the happy ending we wanted regarding Mac and Harm’s relationship, it seems they are trying to make up for our devastation by including her again—only, alone this time. According to TVLine, Catherine’s next NCIS: LA episode airs on Sunday, April 19 and it doesn't sound like Harm is a part of the package.
Catherine seemed to further confirm that point when she posted a solo selfie from the set. “After 15 years I am putting the @marines uniform back on for another exciting episode of @ncisla!!” she wrote. “Mac is back!!” And she shared a second group pic that promised she'll see the cast "again soon."
The outlet reports that Mac’s return revolves around a “sensitive, ripped-from-the-headlines-ish case in which two SEALs have come forward to claim that their chief murdered an unarmed Taliban prisoner.” Mac seeks Hetty’s help, and that’s where Deeks, Kensi, Callen, and Hanna come in.
