The first of two spinoffs launched by the hugely popular television series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, CSI: MIAMI introduces a new cast of crime fighters operating from a forensics lab unit in the tropical climes of southern Florida. David Caruso (NYPD BLUE) anchors the series as tortured homicide detective Horatio Caine, who leads an investigative team that includes Southern-belle ballistics expert, Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter); streetsmart tough guy, Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane); underwater recovery expert, Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez); no-nonsense coroner, Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander); and short-lived DNA specialist, Megan Donner (Kim Delaney, who departed after only 10 episodes). While sharing its parent show's penchant for grisly crime reenactments, the spinoff places greater emphasis on police work, rather than science, and boasts a flashier cinematographic style that befits its sunkissed and stylish Miami locale. This collection presents every episode from the series' debut season.

    Love it, Needed it, Bought it

    I started watching re-runs of the show on tv and fell in love with the cast and story line. I needed to see it from the beginning. The first episode starts with the characters from the original CSI having to follow a killer to Miami and there they meet up with the cast from CSI: Miami and together they hunt a killer down. Great show to watch if you're interested in forensics and crime solving. Very entertaining!!

    Must have for a crime fan!

    I am not qualified to give an objective review because I love the show. Although I love most crime dramas. This first season is very well done and it has an outstanding cast. The medical examiner brings hot and sexy back to the morgue.

    This Complete Season of CSI-Miami is one of the most beautiful Series shot on location, the story line is great. Would recomend to everyone, a lot of fun and Sun....
