Decent cable alternative, 1080p, wireless or ethernet connection. Remote is ample, slim, and has a little heft which is okay. Roku offers a limited selection of free programs, movies, for a one time price. There may be a premium paid option with more tv/movies, but I don't have any interest at this time. Picture is good, audio syncs well, and it's easy to setup. The Roku is easy to use and find something to watch. For being free programming for a one time purchase of the Roku device, it's great. What's not to like. There's also many other apps on the Roku you can access, either free or with a free trial, or paid membership. Roku is especially nice if you have an older TV that doesn't have any, or few, or very limited, smart features/apps. It's perfect for folks on a budget, and also for guest rooms, mother-in-law suites, dorms, or take it on vacation with you. The Roku 2 4210 is a 3rd generation model and I bought this one because of the performance of another one we have been using since 2015 which I bought new. The 4210 model has a dual core which seems to help speed this up over the 1st and 2nd generation models due to being a single core. We have 4 Roku devices in our home and I have been pleased with the performance of them all. We now have 2 Roku 2's, a Roku Express and a Roku Ultra 4K
