    It is a great show to watch if you are one who is into watching crime drama shows. The cast members analyze the minds of criminals from a psychological point of view, and why they commit the crimes they commit.

    Great show for not very smart people

    I bought this on a recommendation from my brother. I will never listen to him again. This series is all Hollywood world fantasy with no base in reality. I believe it is the second episode where gasoline poured under a door magically leaps onto a standing man's back. In the same episode fire comes within a foot of an elevator which has had a gallon of gasoline poured into it yet the fumes do not ignite. FAKE!

    Criminal Minds - The Complete First Season (2006, DVD)

    If you have never seen Criminal Minds (CM) from the beginning, I recommend that you DO SO! Beacause of my work, I never got the chance to see a COMPLETE EPISODE but I could tell this was an AWESOME show and I wanted to see MORE/ALL! Now, I can and I have not been disappointed! This DVD has clips of deleted scenes that I like. It also has a commentary option (who these people are that are commenting I don't know. Even after they stated who they were I still did not know WHO THEY WERE/ARE) which I tried to listen to but after 4 - 7 minutes I was about ready to smack the commentators! B O R I N G!!! Although I love this DVD, I still feel as if I am missing something in regards to the characters. They keep referring to "Elle" as if she is a newbie but I have not seen ...

    Great set, but has a default.

    I love Criminal Minds and the set I got for Season one were great, except for the first disk. I played the disk in my DVD player, HP Laptop, and Xbox player and the first disk did not even register in the player. There is no cosmetic difference between the first disk and the rest. I was really looking forward to seeing the first episode of the first season, but it is on the disk that won't work. I contacted the seller today and look forward to getting this resolved. Since the set was factory sealed, it is possible it is a factory quirk.

    Smarter than your av-er-age crime show!

    I bought this for my wife for Valentines Day (how romantic!), and we have enjoyed each and every episode. I'm not a fan of "boring" crime dramas like CSI, but Criminal Minds seems to work for me as the "thinking man's" crime drama. Plus, if you grew up in the 80's like I did, seeing Mandy Patinkin as a staring role is great (although there is significantly less fencing in Criminal Minds than The Princess Bride). Great entertainment, and you might even learn a bit about profiling that wierd guy next door...

More to explore :
