- Vogue sends Carrie to report on the latest fitness craze, trapeze 'flying', and she's hooked. Charlotte and Harry prepare for her second perfect wedding, helped by Anthony. Harry's funny friend Howie gets on with Carrie, but in bed drills like a rabbit. Steve wants his girlfriend Debbie to meet Miranda, who hides under the bed to avoid meeting her. - Carrie has to do a trapeze lesson to write a piece on swingers. She is able to swing effortlessly but is not able to let go of the handlebar and complete a catch.
Carrie finds that a casual fling with Harry's best man Howie (Bryan Callen) is a pain in the neck. Howie is in town just for a week, so this thing is never going anywhere. But girls find him funny and cute and ask Carrie to carry on regardless. Samantha says that it's fun as it's a fling.
Carrie goes out with Howie, and they end up having sex. Howie has no idea what he is doing, and Carrie doesn't say anything to him. Jackrabbit sex gives Carrie a sprain.
Miranda is scared of meeting Steve's new girlfriend Debbie (Eleni Fuaixis). When Miranda has to leave for Charlotte's wedding, Debbie comes over with Steve to pick Brady, unannounced. Miranda is so panicked that she hides under the bed and tells Magda not to reveal her presence in the house.
Harry and Charlotte have a prior to the wedding photo shoot in central Park. Charlotte wants the perfect picture as she wants her wedding announcement to be featured in the Sunday Times. She knows the kind of picture they are looking for. Anthony (Mario Cantone) is again in charge of planning the wedding as per her tastes. She wants to have a traditional Hebrew wedding. After Harry accidentally sees Charlotte in her wedding dress before the big day, she is convinced their wedding is cursed. Charlotte's nightmare starts coming true when her wedding announcement photo in the NYT, has a slight Hitler mustache on her. On all prints.
Self-sufficient Samantha struggles without a man around. Her dress zipper is caught and there is no one around to help her out of her dress. Eventually she has to rip the dress apart to get out of it. Jerry is leaving for Mexico for a modeling assignment. Samantha realizes that she is used to Jerry in her life now.
On wedding day Carrie is invited by Howie a gain to spend the night at his suit. She doesn't want to get pounded again and says no, citing that she thought it was a one-night stand with him. Howie is hurt.
The ceremony itself is one disaster after another. Charlotte spills wine on her dress. Samantha snaps open her bracelet and pearls fall all over the floor and Carrie bends to clean up but gets a back spasm. Harry tries to break the glass, but it takes many attempts. Finally, Charlotte slips on the pearls and nearly falls. Carrie tells Charlotte that she already had a perfect wedding with Trey, and that marriage turned out to be bad.
In fact, worse the wedding, better the marriage. Carrie says that Charlotte is missing her wedding and she should enjoy it. She says that Charlotte has a wonderful man who loves her and would catch her when she falls. That is special and is worth fighting for. Howie gets drunk and rants about Carrie in his toast. Miranda's speech catches fire (from the candles at the table) and Anthony throws wine on her to put it out. Nobody catches the bouquet.
