- Carrie is embarrassed to be presented to Aleksandr's artistic friends now that he's getting another Paris exposition and enjoys four cold days in his apartment. Miranda is grumpy during their move to Brooklyn, but Steve delivers in every respect. Samantha and Smith Jerrod invite Stanford and Marcus out - the Tattle Tale columnist prints a rumor that Smith is gay; Sam won't have that undo her rep, so she releases a sex tape with Smith online. Big is calling Carrie again but she deletes his messages. Charlotte is enamored with her puppy, and decides to enter her in a dog show, with Anthony as groomer and inviting the girls plus Stanford - the dog goes into heat but still wins. Carrie unexpectedly brings the girls to visit Aleksandr, but he tells them to keep out of the atelier as he's working.—KGF Vissers
- Aleksandr refuses to talk about his work or introduce Carrie to his friends. All his friends are accomplished painters or editors like Jean Paul Sandal (an accomplished painter), Audra Clark (editor of Art/Life magazine), while Carrie is a columnist on a 2nd grade newspaper in NYC. Carrie is also surprised to learn that Alek has a show in Paris and hasn't told her. This is Alek's first new exhibit in 6 years and the whole world is waiting with bated breath.
This is when Big calls again and wants to meet Carrie. But now Carrie doesn't want to speak to Big at all and she deletes his messages. Carrie says that she feels good being with Alek. But Carrie knows that she still knows nothing about Alek and his life. Alek says that he wants to keep his work and his private life separate. Meanwhile Carrie feels that a couple should share everything.
Carrie wants Alek to meet her friends, but he backs out at the last minute. So, Carrie brings over the girls to meet Alek at his studio. Alek is rude at being disturbed at his work and simply blows the girls off. Carrie figures out Alek is nervous about his upcoming show in Paris and is uppity. Alek confides to Carrie that he worries that his work over the last 6 years may not be enough.
Miranda adjusts to life in Brooklyn. She has to travel a lot to come to the city to meet her friends and her friends are not OK to come to Brooklyn too often to spend time with her. At the end of a busy day, Miranda is still happy to come back to her home to her family.
Charlotte decides to enter Elizabeth Taylor in a dog show. Elizabeth is a show dog and whenever she goes for a walk, she prances along and shows off. Charlotte believes that the only reason Elizabeth did not win is because her last owner was not very supportive. Charlotte believes that with love and a little encouragement, Elizabeth can win. In the dog show, Elizabeth goes into heat and starts dripping blood. Charlotte uses her show experience to win the judges over with her smile, who chose to ignore the blood dripping from Elizabeth, and she wins. But the very next day in the park, other dogs start having sex with Elizabeth.
Miranda reads a celeb scandal mag that alleges that Smith is gay. Samantha and Jerrod were having lunch when Stanford and his boyfriend Marcus dropped by say hello and Smith asked them to join. Another fan of Smith took a picture with his camera, and it somehow made way to the tabloids. The tabloids publish the picture with a report that Smith is gay.
Samantha finds that a tabloid reported that she's his "fag hag". Then Samantha overhears two PR girls talking about how they used to think that Samantha had the best sex life in NYC. She decides to keep that reputation and put an end to all the rumors once and for all. She makes a sex tape with Smith. Once done, Samantha sends the tape by an anonymous FedEx to 2 PR girls. These were the same girls who were gossiping about Samantha's sex life. The clip is uploaded to the internet in no time.
