- It turns out that Tortuga (Danny Trejo) was killed by the Mexican cousins in a bar, for being an informant to the DEA. His severed head was mounted on a tortoise, which was then used to attack Hank and his team, which caused him PTSD. Tuco's uncle is Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis), a feared drug lord in his own time. The 2 Mexicans are Leonel Salamanca (Daniel Moncada) and Marco Salamanca (Luis Moncada).
Walt moves back into the house and tells Skyler he has no intention of leaving. Skyler says that they had an agreement, but Walter counters that he never agreed to anything. Walter also does not agree to a divorce. Walter says that his family is everything to him and without it he has nothing to lose.
Walter, Jr. is thrilled that his dad is back, but Skyler calls the police in an attempt to have Walt thrown out but is not successful as Walter's name is still on the lease and there is no divorce, legal separation or domestic violence. Plus, Walter Jr supports Walter in front of the police. Predictably, Skyler never reveals Walter's drug activities to the police as that would jeopardize the entire family and not just Walter. Police tell Skyler that there is no legal basis to remove Walter from the house, and they cannot arrest a man for entering his own house. Skyler also decides to pursue her own interests. Skyler tells her lawyer that Walter is a drugs manufacturer, but cannot go to the police as it will bring down the entire family.
Jesse is still having trouble coming to terms with his girlfriend's death but has moved back into his house. Saul wants Jesse to convince Walter to start cooking again. Unbeknownst to Walter, Gus has arranged a meeting with his Mexican cartel counterparts and makes it clear that he wants Walt left alone. Gus says that he is doing business with Walter and learns from the Cartel that Walter also goes by the name Heisenberg. He also learns that Walter was in business with Tuco. Walter betrayed Tuco and thus blood will be repaid by blood. Tuco's cousins and his uncle and the entire Cartel wants Walter's head. Gus agrees to their right to vengeance but says that he needs Walter alive for his own purposes. When Gus's work is done, the Cartel can do whatever they want with Walter. Gus says that Walter lives in his territory and thus he has the right to sanction his death or life. Gus is told to finish his business with Walter soon or earn the ire of the Cartel.
Walter won't take Jesse's calls and won't consider Saul's offer to start cooking again. This pushes Jesse to attempt cooking his own Meth, using the RV and the equipment Walter typically uses.
Hank is still stressed and lashes out at random patrons in a bar. He is still having panic attacks and does not know what is wrong with him. Walt explains to Skyler that he committed all of his illegal activities for the sake of the family and asks Skyler to accept the drug money. He says that the money can help pay for their kids college and is also an insurance policy for their tough times. Later, Skyler seduces her boss Ted (Christopher Cousins). That night, when Walt asks Skyler if she has decided to accept the money, she informs him of her infidelity.
