David Caruso was one of the most recognized actors on TV thanks to his role in 'CSI: Miami', a series in which he played Horatio Caine, the head of a team of criminologists.

They always solved impossible cases and the solution was revealed in the last part of the broadcast, which captivated national viewers for more than a decade.

After 232 episodes and 10 seasons, this series said goodbye in 2012 and David Caruso went into the background. The last time he was photographed by the paparazzi was in 2017, when the actor was accompanied by his children in Los Angeles, California. Away from the acting scene after leaving 'CSI: Miami', the American has been captured this week looking very different.

He was photographed near his home in San Fernando, California, and it looks as though he has gained a lot of weight at 67 years old. David Caruso has also let his hair go long and was seen wearing glasses while accompanied by a woman.

An outstanding career on the small and big screen

During his early career, the actor appeared in 'First Blood', the first film of the Rambo saga, which starred Sylvester Stallone.

The role that brought David Caruso fame was the series 'Cops of New York', for which he was nominated for an Emmy. In addition, he won a Golden Globe.

An outstanding career for an actor who now enjoys spending time with his three children. The New Yorker has been married three times, although he has been linked to many women throughout his life.

After stepping back from acting, he opened an art gallery in California. The American owns other businesses and co-owns Steam on Sunset, a clothing store in Florida.
