The highly anticipated Sex and the City reboot is set to look a lot more familiar, as additional cast members from the original series have joined the line-up.
It had long been established that And Just Like That... would feature Sarah Jessica Parker returning to her lead role as Carrie Bradshaw, alongside Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes).
And it has now been confirmed that Mario Cantone (Anthony Marentino), David Eigenberg (Steve Brady), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch), and Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt) will be stepping back into their roles for HBO Max's revival.
"Everyone at And Just Like That... is thrilled to be able to continue the storylines of these beloved Sex and the City characters with the actors who made them so lovable," executive producer Michael Patrick King told Variety.
The announcement greatly boosts the numbers for returning male cast members, as it was confirmed in May that Chris Noth would be slipping back into his role as Carrie's dashing husband, John James "Mr. Big" Preston.
However, things remain officially unconfirmed for John Corbett, who played Carrie's on-off lover Aiden Shaw in the franchise—despite the actor previously stating he was returning for the new series.
Corbett told Page Six in April: "I'm going to do the show," adding that he found of the prospect of returning "very exciting."
Newsweek has contacted a representative for Corbett for comment.
Sara Ramírez is joining the cast with her new character Che Diaz, a non-binary stand-up comedian, who hosts a podcast on which Carrie is a guest.
Kim Cattrall's popular character Samantha Jones will not be seen in the reboot, after the actress revealed in no uncertain terms that she was done with the franchise.
Amid rumors of a feud, Cattrall told Piers Morgan in 2017 that she had "never been friends" with her SATC co-stars.
Also not returning will be the stylings of costume designer Patricia Field, as she has already committed to the second season of Netflix show Emily in Paris, another series by SATC creator Darren Star.
"I wasn't able to be in New York doing that and be in Paris doing Emily in Paris," Field recently explained to WWD. "But I told them to call my very dear friend Molly Rogers, who also worked in my store back in the day.
"She did Sex and the City with me from start to finish. She knew it well so she's doing it. My dance card was full."
Sex and the City, which is based on Candace Bushnell's book of the same name, spanned six seasons between 1998 and 2004 during its run on HBO.
The series spawned two films, including 2010's Sex and the City 2, which earned $294 million at the box office.
