An 80s Cinematic Murder

Eight movie extras meet in a high school cafeteria where they wait to be taken to the movie set, but one of them never makes it. Steven Shining has been murdered! Can you figure out who is responsible for this dramatic turn of events?

Dr. Edgar Flux He’s a science professor who dreams of inventing a time machine. Steven Shining was a former student of his, but there seems to be bad blood between them. 

 

Madeline She’s a scuba instructor from Cabo San Lucas who came to California with the hope of finding true love. An avid movie buff, she figured that Hollywood must be the perfect place to meet the man of her dreams. Steven is now interfering with her plans. 

 

Lieutenant Paul Michael This former fighter pilot claims he was wrongfully terminated for having a bad temper. He now spends a lot of time in bars; that is where he had the unfortunate experience of first meeting Steven Shining.

Buttermilk Her one true love was killed six months ago. She is currently engaged to the Prince of Florant. Although she doesn’t love him, this marriage will save her family from financial ruin. She recently came across some information about Steven that has deeply disturbed her. 

 

Alexis Ovens She’s a construction worker who dreams of being a full-time dancer. She attracts male attention everywhere she goes. Sometimes those men can be aggressive. Yet, she knows how to stand up for herself, especially against Steven who has taken an interest in her.

Ethan Frone He works for FikTitious Movie Studios, checking in extras and arranging rides to the movie set, but his real passion is slaying vampires. He often follows people at night, and he always has a stake ready just in case. Did he believe Steven was a vampire?

Josephina Vallena She owns a wine bar called Bella Vino. When she is not busy with Bella Vino, she spends time with her boyfriend, Tony Calzone. Tony is a mobster, and he doesn’t care for Steven.

Joshua Switter He’s the manager of the ladies’ department at Macy’s. He recently met a lady named Ellen and has fallen madly in love with her. Did Steven threaten his new romance?
