Lindsay Press Culturess Grey's Anatomy has never pulled punches and season 17 was a genuine example and tragic mirror of the state of the world during 2020. Jun 16, 2021 Full Review Alex Cranz The Muse/Jezebel As Grey's Anatomy sought to shove as many covid-19 references into an episode as it could, I felt more exhausted than healed. Nov 13, 2020 Full Review Ani Bundel NBC News THINK Features one of the most coronavirus-centric TV plots we've seen since studios started filming again. The result is one of the most moving season premieres in the show's history, which after nearly two decades is saying a lot. Nov 13, 2020 Full Review Ashley Bissette Sumerel Tell-Tale TV Though the two-hour Grey's Anatomy Season 17 premiere largely focuses on the current health crisis, it still manages to offer romance, lighthearted moments, and an emotional surprise that no one could have seen coming. Austin L This show is so bad it isn't even funny. I literally tried to watch this show with my sister and instantly fell asleep. If you want a good doctor show this is not it. I would recommend shows like Chicago med and good doctor over this. The acting is so bad is laughable. To top it all off they somehow dragged out a bad pilot to 19 missable seasons. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/27/22 Full Review ells After binge watching from s1-s16 over the past 3 months, this is BY FAR the worst season I've ever watched. It has become a chore just to watch the episodes and only because i want to finish it after spending so much time watching the show. I understand the whole covid deal but it is seriously being shoved down our throats in this season!! I'm on s17 e9 currently and there has not been a SINGLE happy episode. The whole vibe of the season is extremely depressing and not the escape Grey's use to be. Grey's has turned into that of a Soap Opera and is totally not what it used to be. I am beyond disappointed and I want the old Grey's back!!!!! It's as if the writers don't even talk to each other anymore! The episodes are all boring and sad - not what i expected after 16 amazing seasons. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Love Grey's Anatomy but hated this season, fast forwarded through most of it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Tracy H Persevered through to episode 5, struggling with this season so far it way to preachy Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/27/22 Full Review Audience Member The plot is so heavily focused on integrating covid 19 that it overwhelms the series, and takes away from what is usually an inspirational and moving plot. In my opinion, the worst season of the series. A pro of the season was the featuring of many of the beloved lost characters from previous season. Hopeful that the next season returns to the usual Grey's we know and love. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This season absolutely sucked. They're ruining the show.
