Sandra Gonzalez Entertainment Weekly NCIS often gets a bad reputation because it's a procedural. But naysayers need only look at last night's season finale as an example of what this show is capable of accomplishing. May 1, 2019 Full Review Phil Dyess-Nugent AV Club Part of the appeal of NCIS has to be that it's not hard to get the lay of the land and keep the characters straight even if you do start to feel half asleep while watching it, which is not an unlikely development Rated: B- Nov 1, 2011 Full Review Michelle Carlbert TV Equals The Gibbs and Tony interaction was absolutely superb and may have been some of the best I've seen in this series so far. Oct 30, 2013 Full Review Steve Marsi TV Fanatic What resulted was a very strong episode and plenty of questions answered, but also more loose ends to say the least. David D We started watching this in 2022, and it is one of the best series we have ever enjoyed. Every episode is different, and they are not afraid to kill off some of the stars. Mark Harmon is great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant. This and S08 work well at being bloody good! Lol. This has a lot of stories rooted in the interpersonal relationships between core characters, as well as some of their outlying family members Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member On par with season 8 as one of the best years of the show, season 9 meshes an incredible set of recurring guest stars with an almost perfect main cast to give stellar performances from the suspenseful season premiere to one of the biggest cliffhanger finales in TV history.
