A week ago, we
last saw our favorite Upper East Siders and Brooklynites in a state of
disarray: Chuck busting windows,
Blair bursting into tears, Prince Charming betraying his family for a girl he
barely knows, Raina bringing back evil Uncle Jack. This week brought us even
more insanity—that is, literal insanity because Charlie is cuh-ray-zee. What
were you loving and hating last night? Read on for the recap!
Everyone LOVED the return of Cyrus!
Someone get that man his own show.
You all hated the return of Jack Bass.
@nnsnvprtwtweeted: "NO! He'll ruin
everything" and @xMelissaR04 pretty much summed up our emotions with "BOOOO TO JACK BASS!"
Love that Charlie's favorite book was Flowers
in the Attic. Yeah, as
if we couldn't already tell that she was crazy...
Hate how, literally 2 minutes into the
episode, we have a black-tie event to look forward to at the evening's end. Can
we please be a little more creative about this?
Love when Blair lets out her inner mean girl.
To Serena: "Like much else in your life, that apology was underwhelming." B,
FTW.
Hate Rufus' weird meddling. Why is Rufus so
informed about Charlie's medical situation? Why does he keep giving uninformed
advice? Does he ever go outside?
Love that Serena's solution to all of
Charlie's problems is "What about your trust fund? Let me call and find out
what the problem is."
Hate how Charlie (and everyone else on this
show) talks about the Upper East Side like it's another planet. It's just
another borough. Charlie needs to stop referring to the UES and the people who
live there as existing in "another world" she desperately longs to be a part
of. What is this, The Little Mermaid?
Now for one of
the biggest questions of the night... are you Team Chuck or Team Charming?**

until Chuck becomes a better man and steps it up!!"

Team Chuck, but I'm definitely on the Team Charming now!"
But there are
loyalists who are forever devoted to Bass. For instance, @sarahcoombs5: "Team Chuck always have been!! :D"
@_Gracie__ agreed: "Team Chuck FTW!!!! As cute as B and The Prince are, it'll
never work out, she will eventually fall into Bass's arms.. :)"
**NOTE: If your real
life ex-boyfriend punches out a window next to your face, DO NOT BE ON HIS
TEAM. Chuck only gets away with this pyscho behavior because he is not a real
person and this is a television show.
Love How well Chuck knows Blair: "Blair is
nothing without her secrets."
Hate Charlie's pathetic inability to keep a secret.
She throws her medicine away... in a public garbage bin in the middle of Serena's
living room? And she expected to not be discovered how, exactly?
Love Dan's reaction to Serena calling out
Charlie on stealing her dress: "There are lots of gold dresses!" He is such a
guy.
Hate that Dan takes Charlie's side when Serena
so obviously knows where that dress is from. Also, even though Dan is a guy, he's
still Dan Humphrey. He was obsessed with Serena; going with her to cotillion
was the highlight of his teenage life. No way would be not recognize that
dress!
As for the other
dresses of the night, you were divided on your favorite. Still, it looked like
everyone loved Blair's and Serena's choices (unlike
last week, when B failed to impress).

@Tessa_Reynolds was on the other side: "Serena
always wears everything better! I love her style"
Love Russell's storyline is finally over. Get
that man on a plane so Nate can get back in the action!
Hate Oh wait, just kidding—Russell is still
here and he LOCKED BLAIR ON THE ROOF. WHAT IS HAPPENING!?
