How to use on Google classroom

· Upload PowerPoint document into Google drive

· Save as Google slides

· Make a copy of the file as Google slides and save in a resource folder. Keep this as an original copy.

· Open the copied file and delete any slides you do not want students to complete. For example, I want my students to complete worksheet #1 only, so I will delete all other slides. This is the file you will upload in Google classroom.

In Google classroom:

· Create assignment

· Add “Google drive”

· Select the file you save (MUST BE SAVED AS GOOGLE SLIDES)

· Select “Make a copy for each student”

· (IMPORTANT NOTE: If you assign the same exact file again as a new assignment, it will NOT give you the option to “make a copy for each student”. If that is what you want to do, then rename the file.)

· You can select a due date and grading option. It is up to you.

· Click “Assign”

Student view:

· When the student types in their answers, they will select “Turn in”

Teacher view:

· To view student work, click on the assignment.

· You will see a number of students who turned it in.

· You are able to view student answers. If it is incorrect, you can fill each incorrect text box with red, which will inform the student which answers are incorrect.

· Click “Return” to send back to the student to make corrections.

Student view:

· The student will go to their assignments and click on the file. They will be able to see what you filled with red. They can make corrections and select “Return”. You will be able to see what they corrected.
