Description
Use this resource for season 1 of "Grey's Anatomy."
A graphic organizer activity and answer key of the nine episodes of season 1 are included.
For each episode, the students are given the medical conditions of patients treated on the show. They must match the character with the condition, describe the condition, list the body system(s) affected, and what happens to the character as a result.
This is a great activity to extend your anatomy and physiology curriculum. This television series is wildly popular with high school students. They watch it through a new lens when they are required to focus on the medical/anatomical terms of the show. Each episode sparks discussion of medical terminology and medical treatments. It also leads to discussion of different jobs in the medical field and the education required.
**Be advised to preview each episode to make sure it is appropriate for your students.**
