Jamie Oliver lands new TV show – but it’s not in the kitchen
TV chef Jamie Oliver is ditching his kitchen for the garden in his latest series.
The food star, 48, is currently filming Seasons for Channel 4.
The four-parter has episodes titled Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
A TV source said: “Jamie used to be known as the Naked Chef but he is branching out into horticulture.
“He loves spending time in the garden and growing his own fruit and veg. There will still be food and cooking elements, but fans can expect to see a new side.”
In lockdown Jamie gave his Instagram followers a tour around the garden of his £6million Essex mansion, proudly showing off his produce.
He told them: “Look at all these figs, absolutely beautiful. Nature is so clever.”
Dad-of-five Jamie also talked about his love for growing different varieties of tomatoes.
Channel 4 has remained loyal to him despite recently axing several long-running shows, including SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The broadcaster also handed Jamie another four-parter, Jamie Cooks The Mediterranean, which is due out this autumn.

He pocketed £15million for the eight-bed townhouse, which he sold to the estate of late Soho porn baron Paul Raymond.
