At Six Senses Zil Pasyon, we were wowed by the sophisticated design and relaxed atmosphere, the fantastic cuisine, and the natural splendor of the resort’s setting on Félicité Island. It’s one of our all-time favorite Six Senses resorts — and as private island resorts go, this one steals the crown for the sheer beauty of the experience. We had a wonderful time here.

Remote and secluded, yet only 35 minutes away (by a small plane) from Mahé, Desroches Island is perfectly placed to provide an experience of “luxury castaway,” courtesy of Four Seasons. Perfectly appointed, beautifully designed, and distinguished by a great vacation atmosphere, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles raises the bar for tropical beach resort luxury. It’s a great choice for couples but also for families with children.

The Waldorf Astoria Platte Island Seychelles is part of a $100 million development on Platte Island, about 130km (80 miles) south of Mahé, to which guests are flown by private plane. The resort features 59 luxury villas with private pools, a selection of restaurants and beach bars, a spa, a kids club, tennis courts, an outdoor observatory, and a marine conservation discovery center. The island is known for its wild beauty, and sustainability is a key focus of the Waldorf Astoria Platte Island.

This specialty spa resort enjoys a truly idyllic setting—offering a perfect escape from modern life’s frenetic pace. We love it for: The resort is located above one of Seychelles’ finest beaches — certainly one of the best we’ve seen. It’s vast, dramatic, and flanked by the characteristic granite boulders, with soft white sand and shade provided by overhanging palm trees.

Silhouette Island is spell-binding. It’s filled with rugged cliffs, jungles of primeval forest, valleys, and meandering rivers — it’s mostly wild, with only a sliver of the land inhabited. Constance Ephelia is the largest resort in the Seychelles. It has 313 rooms and villas and offers a full range of on-site facilities and attractions.
