Well, it’s getting to be that time in the Obama presidency—the last hurrahs: the final Easter Egg roll, the final pardoning of the turkey, the final Kennedy Center Honors. So, in what will likely be President Barak Obama’s final state dinner—a black-tie occasion with Italian prime minister__Matteo Renzi__ and his wife, Agnes Landini—for the First Family, it’s only fitting to invite some of the best celebrity guests. During a Snapchat reveal on Wednesday, Michelle Obama broke the news that chef Mario Batali will be assisting White House staff with the meal. The night’s musical entertainment will be provided by Gwen Stefani, reports the AP.

The Washington Post added that these celebrity additions might mean a state dinner on the flashier side—maybe a little less buttoned-up than previous occasions.

Regardless of the distraction of high-profile chefs and performers, we can’t forget that this really is the end. The president is giving exit interviews. Michelle Obama is joking to Ellen DeGeneres about getting her security deposit on the White House back. Gwen Stefani is showing up to serenade the Italian prime minister and his wife. This is the end.
