Ep 7. Bloodletting

After a dramatic ending to episode 6, "Bloodletting" picks up where we last saw Klaus, who has been badly injured by his former protégé Marcel. While Klaus' siblings scramble to find a cure for his condition, Marcel takes advantage of the opportunity to assert his power over his former mentor's territory.

In a flashback, we see Klaus' relationship with Marcel from the beginning - how he found him as a young boy and raised him as his own, teaching him everything he knew about being a vampire. But as Marcel grew older and more powerful, his loyalty to Klaus started to waver, and we see the events leading up to their current conflict.

Meanwhile, Hayley is still searching for her family and turns to a new ally - the witch Sophie, who has some surprising information about her past. The two team up to try and find the location of Hayley's biological family, but they encounter some unexpected setbacks along the way.

As Klaus' condition worsens, his siblings must make some difficult decisions to try and save him, including turning to an unlikely source for help. Finally, tensions come to a head when Marcel makes a bold move to assert his authority over the French Quarter, leading to a high-stakes showdown that could change everything.
