Ep 10. The Wife Aquatic

After the unremarkable party thrown by the Simpson family for Aquaman, Marge worries that she is not living up to her potential as a wife and decides to enroll in a course on self-empowerment. The new Marge sets her sights on a surprising new career as a competitive swimmer, encouraged by her instructor and the locals at the community center. Meanwhile, in an attempt to keep Homer away from his new tool shed, Marge takes the kids on a trip to an aquatic theme park. While there, Bart meets a girl named Greta, and is instantly smitten. However, he soon realizes that Greta’s dad is her boss, and runs the park with an iron fist. The family learns that the park is going out of business, and Homer decides to help Greta’s dad in hopes of getting the park back in shape. When problems arise at the park, it’s Marge’s newfound swimming skills that save the day. The newly confident Marge also saves the family from Homer’s new tool shed, and the family is reunited at the end, with Marge’s lessons helping to keep them together.
